Opportunities

I love working the way I do.  It has it's challenges, and it's not for everyone, but if knowing the women you care for and providing unrushed, woman-centred care are important to you, you may find the challenges are worth it.

I would be interested to hear from you if you are a local midwife who is wanting to work in this way, providing focused, individualised care to a small caseload of women, or individualised care in a holistic clinic setting.  You may have your own caseload and want to work in partnership, or you may still be working part-time for the NHS but wanting to do some private work as well.

I am also open to hearing from non-midwife birth workers, or hopeful student midwives, provided you are able to make a commitment.  I usually get to know volunteers through their help at the Baby Garden.
